Jeff, I just wanted to drop a personal note and tell you how deeply grateful I am for the opportunity to take the course from you. Your subject matter knowledge, the high quality of the book you’ve written, your enthusiasm for the subject, your availability to the students, your extensive real-world business knowledge, and finally and perhaps most importantly, your warmth and sense of humor, made the class a huge success. Whereas I was dreading the thought of Sundays at 9AM (I don’t even start work M-F until 9:30-9:45), you made it a real pleasure and highly informative. You kept us on our toes, you’ve challenged us to think beyond the exam – I just can’t thank you enough.
And on the personal level, you are just a very kind and decent guy – and I really looked forward to the class, there was none of the expected drudgery I anticipated on Sunday mornings. You kept things rolling along to such a pace, I could sense you having to catch your breath at the end of each day. That’s REAL dedication.
Now that the class is over, I look forward to seeing you in-person again at functions, and keep up the momentum. I look forward to telling you first when I’ve passed the test:) Thanks for your superb dedication to us Jeff.
