Great Panel last nite at NYU: “For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Politics” (Donna Brazile, Jonathan Capehart & more)

A highly-entertaining quick education in U.S. politics, civil rights, and activism was provided last night in a panel discussion at the NYU Skirball Theater (11/26/2018).

Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist/author Jonathan Capehart (Washington Post, and podcast series: Cape Up) did a great job leading this deep-bench of four African-American powerhouse women, left-to-right in the photo:

1) Reverand Leah Daughtry, Organizer and Political Strategist.

2) Yolanda Caraway, Founder of The Caraway Group.

3) Minyon Moore, Partner of The Dewey Square Group.

4) Donna Brazile, Veteran Democratic Political Strategist.

The seminar concluded with an excellent Q&A. Below is a photo of NYU Polytechnic Engineering student Kyra-Lee Harry (Forbes Under 30 Scholar | Public Speaker | Youth Leader | Youth Activist) posing a question to the panel.

If you missed the seminar, a good way to learn from these four political experts is to read their new book:

For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Politics.
