I see there’s a new book out called “Mob Rules: What The Mafia Can Teach The Legitimate Businessman,” by Louis Ferrante.
But The Project Management Answer Book, came first, and uses Vito Corleone and Tony Soprano to help give examples of several key concepts.
A few key comparisons:
– Only “Mob Rules” was written by a former member of the Gambino crime family.
– Only “The Project Management Answer Book” was written by a certified PMP.
– Only “The Project Management Answer Book” is PMBOK-compatible.
– Only “The Project Management Answer Book” is directly geared toward helping with the PMP and CAPM exams.
– Both books discuss a technique called “forcing,” but it has a different meaning in the two books.
